Today’s card is a monochromatic of black and white, with just a pop of pink. Berry Burst to be exact! When you don’t have a lot of time for coloring, just a splash of color quickly add just a touch of color, without taking a lot of time. Or in my case, without me having to go find my glasses!
Isn’t she adorable? Comfy, relaxed, and ready to claim this special day. Even though she’s from the Christmas in the Making Stamp Set (available in just 2 days!), she’s certainly more than a just for Christmas kind of girl!
This card seriously took me less than 10 minutes to put together, even with the little ‘oops’ I had with a stamp that faded on me. (Let’s just say my original had two less layers than this one did!) It’s just perfect for a last minute birthday, or special day kind of card!

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/4″ x 4″ Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″ Layer 3: Basic Black, 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ Layer 4: Whisper White 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ Layer 5: Basic Black Layering Oval Layer 6: Whisper White Oval |

- Stamp sentiment in Basic Black ink onto Layer 4.
- Stamp girl in Basic Black ink onto Layer 6. Color her hair ribbon with the Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker. Adhere to Layer 5.
- Adhere 7/8″ striped ribbon to Layer 4 using a long strip of Tear & Tape. This ribbon has a wire edge so it needs a strong adhesive to keep it to the card.
- Add Layers 1-4 to card. Add oval with dimensionals.
