Wow Wednesday!

I’m not going to lie.  I’m having way more fun playing with the Tags & Tidings Bundle than I thought I would.  This bundle first caught my eye while I was on the Alaska Incentive Trip.  I mean, who want to stamp and cut all 16 tags out at one time?  But then, it sat on my shelf for months before I used it.  I guess it was because I didn’t need any tags yet.  But, with the craft fair coming up Saturday and getting ready for Christmas, it’s proven itself more than handy.  Plus, it makes a fun background stamp for envelopes, too!

Today’s cards came together extremely quickly.   I stamped the background tag image twice in Pool Party and then again in Poppy Parade.  I ran the Poppy Parade set through the Big Shot just 1 time and out popped 16 tags ready to use.  Now that’s what I call #SimpleStamping!

Today’s cards used either Pool Party or Whisper White for the Base and 2nd Layer. For today’s tutorial, I’ll use Pool Party.

Base: Pool Party, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Gray, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Pool Party, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 4: Whisper White, 4 1/4″ x 6″
Whisper White Medium Envelope

1. Stamp background image 3 times:
   1. On Layer 2 in Pool Party.  Clean Stamp with the Simply Shammy. 
   2. On Layer 4 Poppy Parade and run it through the Big Shot.  
   3. On the flap of the Whisper White Medium Envelope.
2. Adhere Layers 1 & 2.  Wrap with Pool Party 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon and secure in the back with glue dots.  Add to Base. 
3. Add 3 tags to the front of the card with dimensionals. 
4. Tie a knot with the Pool Party 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon.
