I’ve seen a LOT of meme’s going round about glitter. It seems like glitter and the holidays go together like turkey and stuffing. That stuff is everywhere. That’s the good thing about Wink of Stella…the glitter doesn’t go anywhere. It stays on the paper where it belongs. No more mess…no more worry that you won’t ever get it all vacuumed off the carpet or shampoo’d out of the dog. (Remind me one day to tell you the story of my Shih Tzu’s who discovered a pack of glimmer paper! RED glimmer paper!)
Wink of Stella is great on it’s own to highlight projects. Or as I did today, to lift the color right off your Watercolor Pencils and use it as a paintbrush, leaving behind a little glimmer and shine in its path.
Wink of Stella has to be my #1 coloring tool. And it shows up better in person than in photos. I’ve tried all morning to capture the color and sparkle of this card for you…but today, you might just have to take my word for it!
Today’s Tutorial
Layer 1: Early Espresso, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Stamp image and greeting in Early Espresso onto Layer 2.
- Adhere to Layer 1.
- Using the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, lift color directly off watercolor pencils and brush onto image. (I used Real Red, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, and Calypso Coral).
