Have you seen this October’s Winter Wonders Paper Pumpkin? Mine came in the mail on Friday and I couldn’t wait to open it. First thing Saturday morning, I grabbed my box and opened it up to craft with you on Saturday morning on my weekly Crafty Saturday Facebook Live. And wow! It is absolutely beautiful. As I was making it, I couldn’t stop thinking about a the possibilities there were to combine it with other stamps and embellishments from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.
First, I had to decorate and some glitz to the Christmas trees. I started by squeezing Shimmery Crystal Effects on the snowy parts of the branches. Before it dried, I sprinkled some Ice Stampin’ Glitter over the whole thing. It needs to dry, so set it aside before you do anything else. By the time I had finished the rest of my projects, this was dry enough to continue.
Then, I used some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. Hint: be sure to heat set this puff paint in order to get it to ‘puff’. It’s so much fun!
Then, I got creative and added the Santa and “Believe” sentiment from the Holly Jolly Christmas bundle. I colored him with my Stampin’ Blends Markers in Poppy Parade, Call me Clover, Basic Black, Mango Melody and Crumb Cake. I even added the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to all the fur on his suit.
The Winter Wonders Paper Pumpkin is part of a 2-month series. In November, there’s coordinating gift tags to correspond with October’s card kit. If you haven’t already, you have until November 10 to get yours.
