What would you say?

Mother’s Day is Sunday.  And no…I haven’t made my mom a card yet.  I’ve been thinking about designs and want it to be just right.  Do you ever do that?  Know you need to make a special card, and then it gets put off to the last minute because you want it to be perfect? 

Speaking of perfect, I made this sweet little card using the You’re Inspiring and Hold on to Hope Stamp Sets. I must have gone through every stamp set on my shelf and couldn’t find the right sentiment.  What would you have this one say?  Or would you put a sentiment on it?  Or would you just leave it blank and write a note on the inside?   I can’t tell if this is finished or a work-in-progress.

Base:   Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1:  Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2:  Pineapple Punch, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Whisper White, 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″

1. Stamp all images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. 
2. Color using the following Blends Alcohol Markers:
   1. Light Pool party
   2. Light & Dark Daffodil Delight
   3. Light & Dark Old Olive
   4. Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie
   5. Color Lifter
3. Adhere all layers to base.
4. Agonize over whether or not it needs a sentiment.
