Today’s Tutorial
Feeling crafty but don’t know where to start? Need help with measurements? Try Operation Write Home’s Sketches. They even include cutting measurements. It’s a great place to start if you’re feeling ‘stuck’. Today’s card was inspired by Operation Write Home’s Sketch #83.
Base: Whisper White, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: 2 sheets of Tropical Escapes Designer Series Paper:
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: 2 sheets of Tropical Escapes Designer Series Paper:
- Sheet 1: (top left) 1 3/8″ x 2 1/4″ and (bottom right) 2 1/4″ x 2 5/8″
- Sheet 2: (top right) 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and (bottom left) 1 3’8″ x 2 5/8″
Layer 3: Basic Black, 2″ Circle Punch
Layer 4: Whisper White, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch
- Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1, beginning with Sheet 1, then Sheet 2. Wrap seams with Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer ribbon, securing it in the back with glue dots. Adhere to base
- Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Layer 4. Adhere to Layer 3 and add to Base with Dimensionals.
- Finish with 3 Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots.
