When using Distinktive Stamps, such as Stylish Christmas, it’s important to have the right amount of saturation with the ink and stamp. If there isn’t enough ink, you won’t get all the details, and if your ink pad is too juicy, you’ll lose that fine Distinktive detailing. If you see bubbles on the surface of your stamp or ink pad, that’s an indication that your ink pad is too juicy. You can absorb some of that ink by using a lint-free paper towel.

Today’s Tutorial
Base: Old Olive, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper, 3″ x 3 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper, 3″ x 3 1/2″
- On Layer 2, stamp the poinsettia in Real Red and the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Adhere Layers 1-3. Wrap with Silver Edged Ribbon and add to Base.
- Finish with 3 Basic Rhinestones.
