Sometimes, you just need a little Sweet & Simple stamping therapy. Take last night, for instance. I had every intention of getting into my studio early, but a severe thunderstorm thwarted my plans, knocking out the power for quite some time. I really needed to do some stamping – it was just one of those days! – and I was worried we’d lose power again. I may be able to cook by flashlight, but stamping in the dark is never a good idea. I unpacked a box I’d gotten from Stampin’ Up! yesterday, and there it was; the Petal Promenade Paper I’d ordered with the Buy 3/Get 1 Free sale last month.
Have you seen the Petal Promenade Paper? If you like fresh flowers – and I do! – you’re going to fall in love with it. There are over a dozen varieties of flowers featured in this very pretty designer series paper. What made it really great last night, was using the sheet of framed rectangles. These frames meant I didn’t have to go cut extra paper or fuss with my Big Shot. I simply made two layers and stamped my sentiment right on the designer series paper. Within a few minutes, I had a Sweet & Simple card that satisfied my crafting needs.
Here’s a peek behind the scenes of design process of the Petal Promenade Paper. How cool is that?
