Spring Cleaning:  Making Room for New Products

It was spring cleaning weekend in the studio and boy did it need it!  It really was a disaster zone; I couldn’t stand to be in it.  Unfortunately, I was so exhausted after retreat that I didn’t put things away properly when I got home.  The Montessori teacher in me should know better!  Then…I had a club to prep, swaps for OnStage, and a class and team meeting to attend to.  This was the first weekend in a long time that I didn’t have anything scheduled or planned.  So, my studio got the full attention it deserved. It feels so much better; I actually made 3 cards last night rather quickly because it was clean and everything was exactly where it needed to be. 

In addition to cleaning, I also pulled ALL retiring product off my shelves.  That was a BIG chore, too.   And while I’m sad to see most of it go, I am excited for what’s coming next!  My UPS man should be bringing me my box of pre-order goodies today or tomorrow.  I can’t wait to show you what’s inside! 

The worst part of clearing all the retiring products of my shelves is the paper.  Oh, how I love pretty paper.  I just had to give this Delightful Daisy pattern one last go.  It is almost ALL GONE!  Better get some before it’s too late.

Base:  Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1:  Calypso Coral, 2 1/8″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 2:  Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 3:  Whisper White Card Stock

1. Stamp daisy twice in Night of Navy Ink onto Layer 3.  Use a Blender Pen to pull color onto petals.  Punch out with daisy punch and adhere together.  Add a Gold Faceted Gem to the center. 
2. Adhere Layers 1 & 2 to based.  Add daisy with a dimensional. 
3. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy.
