Sometimes simple is best. And, true to my paper addiction, there is no stamping on this card! It’s just paper. Even the balloons were die cut using the new Birthday Friends Framelits to cut out balloons from the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper, and the sentiment is from the new Happy Birthday Thinlit. It’s perfect for those last minute birthday cards.
Today’s Tutorial:
Layer 1: Daffodil Delight, 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Layer 2: Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (Polk Dots), 5 1/4″ x 4″
Other cutting: Balloons and Happy Birthday Dies
- Adhere Layers 1, & 2 to base.
- Place a dimensional on the back of each balloon and stick a piece of Whisper White Bakers twine to the dimensional. Gather the three pieces of twine and tie a knot. Adhere balloons to card.
- Using the Fine Tip Glue pen, place small dots of glue around the back of the Happy Birthday die cut. Adhere to the card. (You should apply light pressure and hold it in place for a few seconds. This will help it adhere and not slide off the card).
