Rooted in Nature for Special Occasions

Tomorrow marks my parents 51st wedding anniversary.  They are the roots of our family tree.  Though we may branch out,  and spread our wings, the foundation of love and support that they have built along way keeps us grounded and strong.  The roots of their love for each other and their family run strong and true. 

When we went on vacation to Spokane this year, we spent some time looking at real estate.  And what really made a decision of whether or not to keep looking was whether or not the land had trees.  It all comes down to being surrounded and, if you will, Rooted in Nature.  And so, this card is the perfect way to mark their special day. 

Wishing them both a very happy anniversary weekend!  Love you lots, Mom & Fom!

Base:  Early Espresso, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ 
Layer 1: Early Espresso, 5 1/4″ x 4″, embossed with Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder
Layer 2: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 4″
Layer 3: Crumb Cake,
Layer 4: Very Vanilla
Layer 5: Corrugated Elements, tag
Layer 6: Very Vanilla, 5 1/4″ x 4″ (for inside)

1. Adhere layers 1 & 2.  Wrap with Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon and tie a knot.  Adhere to Base. 
2. On Layer 4, stamp tree in Soft Suede and adhere to Layer 3.  Attach to card with dimensionals. 
3. Stamp sentiment on back of Layer 5 in Early Espresso.  Sponge edges in Early Espresso.  Adhere under the knot with a glue dot.  
4. Add Copper Leaf Trinket with glue dot. 
5. Add Linen Thread bow with glue dot.
