Product of the Week: Tags & Tidings

I’m getting ready for a craft fair this week and need to make tags for all my table treats.  The Tags & Tidings Bundle is going to save me so much time!  In the time it takes to ink up one stamp, and roll just one die through the Big Shot, I’ll have 16 tags!  I can’t even begin to tell you how much time this is going to save me.  The die even cuts out the little hole at the top of the tag so I can quickly thread some Baker’s Twine through the tag, tie it to the gift, and I’m done.  Talk about #SimpleStamping!  This is also #SimpleBigShot work!

All week I’ll be featuring cards and tags using the Tags & Tidings Bundle.  With Christmas right around the corner, this is the perfect time to grab this bundle and finish up all your gift wrapping. 

Today’s card features some very #SimpleStamping, but pack a big WOW!  This stamp works like a backround stamp; stamp it once and you’re done!  I kept the color scheme monochromatic so you focus on the images themselves without too much distraction.  

And…here’s a helpful hint.  Don’t have the color of ribbon you need?  Grab your white ribbon and color it with one of the Blends Markers, like I did here with Whisper White 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon and my Dark Poppy Parade Blends Marker.  Since it’s an alcohol marker, it dries instantly and doesn’t leave any residue behind.  The same can be done with pearls and rhinestones. How cool is that?

Base: Poppy Parade, 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Whisper White, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
12″ of both Whisper White 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon and Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon

1. Stamp image onto Layer 1 in Poppy Parade. 
2. Color 12″ of Whisper White 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon with your Dark Poppy Parade Blends Marker.  Cut a 6″ piece of it and Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.  Wrap around Layer 1 and secure with glue dots.  Take the remaining ribbons and tie a faux bow on the right side. Adhere to Base. 
3. ​Color 3 small pearls with your Dark Poppy Parade Blends Marker and adhere them down the front of the gingerbread boy. 

Correction! ​An email went out this morning that wasn’t supposed to go out. The New Year’s Bingo is being held on 12/30 at 1:30 at the Dan Pollitt Center in Pittsboro. It is NOT going to be at my house this year. I apologize for the confusion! Registration is due no later than 12/10.
