Life is Grand! My son was home this weekend. And while there was some car trouble with 3 trips to Advance Auto, there was also homemade blueberry muffins, a lunch at Tijuana Flats, and s quick dinner of tomato & basil ziti. He left my house at 8 pm, with a 3 hour drive up to the mountains in a ‘new’ used truck that he’s only driven 10 miles max. Needless to say, I’m not sleeping until I hear that he got home safely.
This week, we’re going to talk about Distinktive Stamps, specifically the Life is Grand Stamp Set. These dinstinktive stamps are great fun. They give the illusion of multi-step stamping with just one stamp. I really do like how quickly you can craft with these stamps. No trying to figure out which stamps to use first, or unmounting and remounting stamps to create multi-step projects. You just need one block and one stamp. Truly amazing!

Base: Night of Navy, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
Layer 1: Balmy Blue, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 2 1/2″
Layer 1: Balmy Blue, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 2 1/2″
- Stamp sentiment and stars in Night of Navy onto Layer 1.
- Adhere Layers 2 & 3. Wrap with Silver 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon and tie a knot.
- Adhere all layers to base.
