Over the Moon for Heirloom Frames

Wait a minute? Isn’t she supposed to be using the Heirloom Threads Suite this week? What’s up with the cow?  Surprise! I happen to have this little cow leftover from a previous design day and thought, hmmmmm, I wonder if she’d fit inside the Heirloom Frame?  And you know what? She did!

The Heirloom Frames and Dies coordinate together. Simply cut out the frame with the die, then place it in the embossing folder to add the detailed embossing.  I have a confession: the first time I used these I didn’t realize there were dies and I fussy cut the oval.  It wasn’t difficult, but I found myself upset that there wasn’t a die to not only cut out the frame, but the inside of the frame, too.  Just as I finished, I glanced over and saw the package of dies, too. Obviously, I needed more coffee that morning. 

I can see the Heirloom Frames and Dies working well with many of our stamped images and sentiments.  And if you’re a scrapbooker, won’t these look awesome in your albums?  I can’t wait to see what you create.

Base: Whisper White, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black,5 1/8″ x 3 /7″
Layer 2: Flirty Flamingo, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Seaside Spray Heirloom Dies and Embossing Folder 
Layer 4: Whisper White Layering Oval Die

1. Stamp images in Tuxedo Black.  Color with Black and Flirty Flamingo Blends. 
2. Adhere layers 1-2. Wrap Whisper White Polka Tulle ribbon and and tie a bow. Add to card. 
3. Secure oval to the back of the Layer 3 with dimensionals.  Add to card.
