One Sheet Wonder! Garden Impressions Notecard

Waste paper?  Not me!  This One Sheet Wonder uses just one piece of 6″ x 6″ Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, which is available starting on June 2.  Since full-size cards in North America typically run 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, and note cards are 5″ x 3 1/2″, learning to cut 6″ x 6″ paper to get the most out of a single sheet can be challenging.  But it doesn’t have to be, if you use a little math and geometry. 

Wait…did she say MATH?  And GEOMETRY???  Trust me.  I was a French major.  And if I can do this, ​ anyone can do this!  With just a few basic measurements, you can get a card front, envelope flap, and even a small designer strip inside!

Card:
Base:  Whisper White Note Card, 5″ x 3 1/2″
Layer 1:  Melon Mambo, 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″
Layer 2: Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, 4 1/2″ x 3″
Layer 3: So Saffron, Layering Oval Framelit
Layer 4: Melon Mambo, Scalloped Layering Oval Framelit
Layer 5: Shimmery White, Stitched Shape Oval

Inside Card: 
Layer 6: Melon Mambo, 3 1/4″ x 1 3/4″
​Layer 7: Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, 3″ x 1 1/2″

Envelope Flap:
Layer 8: Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, 6″ x 3″
