October Stamping Bee Team Swaps

I wanted to share with you two of the swaps from this month’s Stamping Bee Team Meeting.  I think that the swaps are the highlight of the meeting.  It’s like a grown-up version of show and tell.  You can just feel the excitement, and sometimes the nerves as we wonder, “Is mine good enough?  Will they like it?”   The worry is for naught; everyone ooohhs and ahhhhhs over the cards, and receives each one in the spirit that it is given.  “I made this for you.  It’s a piece of me, freely shared and given to you.”

As we gathered for our Sunday team meal, and then shared the autumn and harvest cards we had made for each other, I was reminded yet again of the importance of friendship and community.  For that is what we are….a community of crafters and stampers who gather together to share love, joy, kindness, patience, goodness.  These simple tokens of the Fruits of the Spirit that live within each one of us, born out in paper and ink, with the simple message carried within each of them – “I loved you enough to share this with you. “
