Most Wonderful Time: Sponge Brayering

I was sitting drinking my coffee this morning and reading through my Stampin’ Success magazine and there was a whole article on this week’s product of the week, the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.  Looking at some of the designs they had, I had this “A ha! Why didn’t I think of that?” moment?  They’d taken one of the white and gold foiled card fronts and sponge brayered it with Blueberry Bushel. Well, you know I had to go right upstairs to my studio and give it a try!  I absolutely love the look!  It was so quick & simple, too.

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Most Wonderful Time Card Front
Layer 2: Blueberry Bushel Scalloped Layering Circle Die
Layer 3: Whisper White Stitched Shape Die
Layer 4: Most Wonderful Time banner sticker

• Sponge Brayer Blueberry Bushel ink onto Layer 1. Adhere to card.
• Stamp tree onto Layer 3 in Old Olive. Color with Wink of Stella, pulling the ink into the image to add shading.  Adhere to Layer 2 and add to card with dimensionals.
• Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Layer 4. Remove the sticky from the back of the sticker by dabbing it with an Embossing Buddy. Add to card with dimensionals.
• Wrap Gold and White Tinsel around the card front. Tie a knot and allow to ‘curl’ naturally.
