Lots of Love at my Champagne Celebration

One of my favorite events during the month is to celebrate the success of my Stamping Bee team.  Every month, I have a team challenge and for those who achieve their goal, we have a get together to celebrate.  I always have a special theme to make it a little more festive.  This month, we celebrated five ladies who achieved their December goals with a Champagne Celebration.   

And because we’re Stamping Bees, no get together would be complete without a little stamping!  This month, we made love notes with the Narrow Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes.   I wanted to showcase the Sure do Love You and Lots of Lavender Stamp Sets, along with the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Aren’t they adorable?  And they came together so quickly, too. 

The Narrow Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes are perfect for Valentine’s cards for classrooms or teachers, or little love notes to tuck inside a lunch box or bouquet of flowers.  You could even use them for gift card enclosures!  They measure 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and come 20 to a packet for only $8.  I don’t know about you, but I’ve already bought several packs to make more of these cute little notes. 

Today’s tutorial is going to be a bit different.  I’ll going to give you the directions to build the first few layers, but then you can design them yourself.  Have fun!  

Base:  Narrow Whisper White Note Card, 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Layer 1:  Subtract in either 1/8″ or 1/4″ increments.  If you want a narrow boarder, use 1/8″; a wider boarder uses 1/4″.  

• Narrow boarder:  4 3/8″ x 2 3/8″
• Wider boarder:  4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

Layer 2: 

• Narrow boarder:  4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
• Wider boarder:  4″ x 2 

OR…don’t use any paper to build a layer and use some of our larger background stamps, like I did.  I used the Burlap Background Stamp for the card on the left and the Marbled Background Stamp for the card on the right.
