It’s just one week until Christmas, and like a little kid, I’m dreaming of a white Christmas. Yes, just like the ones I used to know. As the narrator in Frosty the Snowman says, “As any child can tell you,
there’s a certain magic that comes with the very first snow, especially when it falls the day before Christmas.” Now, we had our first snow of the year last weekend, which, in the 12 years I’ve lived in North Carolina has never happened. And we’ve only had one white in those 12 years. So, while it has been unseasonably cold the last few weeks, I’m afraid we’re in for nothing more than a cold, wet, soggy, I mean rainy Christmas. Still, a girl can dream, can’t she?

- Lay a piece grid paper on your work surface. Ink up the Marbled Background Stamp by laying it on the grid paper, flat on the table, and ‘smooshing’ your Marina Mist ink pad all around it. Gently place your card base on top of the stamp, fold your grid paper over it, and gently rub it with your bone folder, or your hands, to transfer the ink to the paper. Uncover, and gently lift the card off the stamp.
- Stamp image with Versamark onto Layer 4 and liberally coat with Silver Embossing poweder. Tap of the extra and use your heat tool to set and melt the powder.
- Place your Silicon Craft Mat on your work surface. Lay a 5 1/2″ strip of Silver Sequin trim face down on the silicon mat and run your Snail Adhesive across the back. Add to a 5 1/2″ strip of Silver Mettalic Edge Ribbon. Then, lay that face down on the mat and run your Snail Adhesive across the back. Add to card base.
-
Adhere layers 4, 5, & 6 with Snail and add to base with Dimensionals.
- Use that same Snail technique with the “whispies” and add to base.
