Learning from the Masters

I was a French major in college.  I had a professor who swore that the only way we’d learn to read, write, and think in French was if we copied copious amounts of literature.  Every night, we were to copy whole works of such greats as Balzac, Montesquieu, Voltaire, Rousseau, Moliere, and others. 

This week, I was blown away by the Stampin’ UP! Artisan Design Team’s blog hop.  They featured the limited edition Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and Bundle. I’ve been challenging myself to create some different cards with this set, and decided to use my old professor’s “Learn from the Master’s” technique. Last night, I set about CASEing (copy and share everything) these master artisans to learn some new and exciting design techniques. 

​Such fun!  I could have stayed up all night, but decided to go to bed after my Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details exploded on my desk!  I was so glad I was holding over grid paper, and not over my finished card!!!
