We’re water coloring sunflowers using the emboss/resist technique with Jar of Flowers stamp set and today’s sketch from the #CASEingTuesday group. Come play along with us with the sketch below.
Sunflowers are popping up everywhere! And it’s no surprise given that the Flowers for Every Season has not one but two sunflower stamp sets: Jar of Flowers and Celebrate Sunflowers. And today, I’m using the water color resist technique for two different cards and groups. First, we have the card I created for the You Can Create It International Blog Hop, where I’m the guest stamper for the month.
Then there’s today’s #CASEing Tuesday Card:
Both cards use the same Jar of Flowers Stamp and emboss resist technique, but they each turned out just a little bit differently. And don’t you just love how the new Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon ties it all together?
Being featured as the YCCI Guest artist is absolutely thrilling! Every month they issue a challenge: what would you create with just a few pieces, not a whole suite, of products? This month…we had only had a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and a sheet of Gray Granite Cardstock.
