Do you ever wake up on Monday mornings, look at the clock and think, “What a weekend!” That was me this morning! Friday night, I put the last minute touches my Christmas Card Club class, and made the Watercolor Christmas kit to have on hand. Saturday was the first in my series of 5 months of Christmas Card Club. Such fun! It’s so popular, I’m holding 2 sessions; one at 10 am and one at 2. We had non-stop Christmas Card club all day long. Saturday night, I sat and finished my tutorial for that and went to bed early. – around 11 pm!
Sunday, I went over to my friend Sarah’s house. She was having her first card ministry class at her church in the afternoon so I went to lend a hand. After making sure she had everything she needed, we jumped in her pool before heading off the the church. What a fun bunch of ladies it was, too. There were about 12 ladies and they each made four cards, 2 each of 2 designs. The could keep one and give one to the church’s card ministry. Most ladies decided to donate both. I think everyone had a great time and they’re all looking forward to doing it again towards the holidays. And getting together at Sarah’s and making the Watercolor Christmas kit, too!
We celebrated by going out to dinner and then headed back to her place to unwind in the hot tub. I got home about 11 pm . Morning just came too early this morning. Thank goodness for coffee…and the Monday morning reliability of noisy waste management trucks who arrive on the dot at 7 am! It’s going to take more than one cup this morning!

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Early Espresso, 5 1/4″ x 4″ Layer 2: Pool Party, 5 1/8″ 3 7/8″ Layer 3: Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 3 7/8′ Layer 4: Pool Party 5″ x 2″, punched with Decorative Ribbon Border punch Layer 5: Whisper White, 5″ x 2″ Layer 6: Washi Tape Basic Pack 2 Layer 7: Cut outs from Coffee Break Designer Series Paper |

- Adhere Layers 1-3 to card.
- In Pool Party, stamp hearts on Layer 5. Add sentiments in Soft Suede. Add narrow strip of washi across the top. Glue Layer 4 behind it. Attach to card with dimensionals.
- Cut coffee pot and cups from designer series paper and add to card with mini dimensionals.
- Wrap linen thread around the card front a few times and secure with knot. Trim edges. Take 4 lengths of linen thread and tie a bow with all four. Adhere to card with glue dot.
