I’m home

​Home.  The place my heart lives. My family and friends are here and [I think] they missed me. My dogs certainly did.  It’s where I live, love, work, and craft. But I love to travel, probably more so than anyone in my entire family. I love the adventure and the opportunities each new place presents. And each time I travel, it feels like I leave a little bit of me behind. I know, when I return home, I am not the same person I was when left.

 I am forever grateful to Stampin’ Up! for the trip of a lifetime.  I never thought I’d spend two weeks in Greece and Italy. And never would I have dreamt I’d have earned the trip just by spending time with friends, doing something that I love.  When I first joined Stampin’ Up!, my brother-in-law (and few others, truth be told) were skeptical. “All this from just a little paper and ink?” YES! All this and much, much more. If I’m honest, I’d do this even without the trips because I’ve met the best friends I’ve ever had, all because of a little paper and ink.”  They are the ones who would completely understand that I’m typing this in the Rome Alitalia lounge, and shedding a few tears over the depth of gratitude I feel as I prepare to go home.

Home. It’s where my craft studio is. The one I was tired of when I left two and a half weeks ago. Where I struggled with feeling creative in the rush of packing, a tight work schedule, and a grown son moving home. I needed a vacation to rest, rejuvenate, and refresh. And now I come back to you, with new energy and ideas. I’m so excited to start crafting with the new holiday catalog. In the 4.5 years I’ve been a demonstrator, there’s never been a catalog like this one.   Do you want a copy for yourself? I’m getting my mailing list put together and would love to send you one!
