Today’s card reminds us that Hope Makes All Things Possible. January is such a long and dreary month. Brighten someone’s day by sending them a message of hope.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all –
And sweetest – in the Gale – is heard –
And sore must be the storm –
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm –
I’ve heard it in the chillest land –
And on the strangest Sea –
Yet – never – in Extremity,
It asked a crumb – of me.
Emily Dickinson is my favorite American poet. In fact, I’d probably even say she’s my favorite poet of all time. And while my card today has not a single feather, I’m certain that my Water Lily card today would appeal to her transcendental nature. I’ve used the Lilly Impressions Designer Series Paper and Power of Hope Stamp Set, both of which are found in this year’s 2020 Sale-a-Bration Collection.

Today’s Tutorial
- Base: Bermuda Bay, 4 1/4″ x 11″
- Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″, Scripty 3D Embossing Folder
- Layer 3: Basic Black, 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ cut 2
- Layer 4: Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper, 3″ x 4″ (cut 2)
- Basic Black and Whisper White Layering Circles
- Adhere Layers 1-4 to card.
- Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Adhere circles and add to card with dimensionals.
- Finish with Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels
