Sometimes…you just have to be adorable.  And that’s exactly what this card is.   It’s a quick, simple but cute card.  As my Dad would say, it’s a “No fuss; no muss” card.   The pig is stamped in Basic Gray, and then painted withAqua Painters, using Powder Pink. 

People have been asking me, “What’s the difference between the three light pinks”.  As you can see, Powder Pink falls right between Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette.  It’s the perfect “Piggy Pink”. 

This is a perfect design for creating a card when you need one in a hurry.  Be sure to keep this tutorial on hand for future use!

Base:  Thick Whisper White, 8 1/2 ” x 5 1/2″ , scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1:  Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper, 5 1/4″ x 4 “
Layer 2:  Coordinating Pick a Pattern Designer Series
Paper, 4″ x  1 1/2″
Layer 3:  Flirty Flamingo Scallop
Layer 4:  Shimmery White Card Stock 

1. Stamp pig in Basic Gray Archival Ink onto Shimmery White Card Stock.  Cut out with Layer Circles Die. 
2. With aqua painters, add color to pig and grass
3. Adhere Layers 1 & 2 to card base. 
4. Adhere Layer 4 to layer 3, and attach to card with dimensionals. 

​***Michelle’s Tip:  When watercoloring, use either Shimmery White Card Stock or Watercolor Paper to keep the paper from “pilling” up.
