When the Lad turned 16, he changed his name back to my maiden name. To mark this momentous and life changing event, we held a special Name Day celebration to recognize, not only the change of name, but also to mark his coming of age. With my sister visiting, we settled on the 4th of July to hold the ceremony and celebration. Independence day took on a whole new meaning thereafter. I only wish I’d been making cards back then!
No matter how you celebrate, or what independence means to you, I wish you a happy, safe holiday! May your pool be cool, your grill be hot, and your fireworks burn bright!

Layer 4: Whisper White, 4 3/8″ x 3 1/8″
Layer 1: Whisper White, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Blueberry Bushel Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Real Red, 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″

Inside Layer 1: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″

- Onto Layer 4, stamp sentiment in Night of Navy and dandelion in Real Red.
- Adhere Layers 1-4 to Base.
- Adhere Inside Layer 2 to bottom of Inside Layer 1. Adhere inside card.
