It’s CASEing Tuesday 242 and time for a Happy Easter card using the Welcome Easter Stamp Set. Sweet, simple, and cute as a baby chick…who would you send this to?
I’m not usually into what my father calls ‘cutesy’ stuff. I prefer a more polished and tailored look, rather it’s in my home decor, my clothing, or in my stamping. But when I saw the Welcome Easter Stamp Set, I just knew I had to have it. It could be that it reminds me of my son, who I called my “Easter bunny baby” since he was born 2 weeks before Easter. I decorated his nursery in Easter colors and framed prints of Easter tulips. See…it wasn’t even a cutesy nursery! And I’d never really been into decorating for Easter, but all that changed with the arrival of a tiny baby boy all those years ago.
When I created yesterday’s card for my Crafty Saturday Facebook Live, I wondered how it would be to stack some of these adorable images. Well, great mind must think alike. Just look at the #CASEingTuesday sketch below. Talk about perfect timing. And that vellum layer? Well, that’s part of the 2nd Release of Sale-a-bration products and I just love it! I think you’ll be seeing it pop up in quite a few of my cards and even in my March Card Club!
TODAY’S TUTORIAL
