It’s gloomy and rainy out today . But no amount of clouds could darken your day if you received such a sunny birthday card. I know I shared a daisy card with you yesterday, but I just had to share this one, too because I have great news. The Daisy Punch is back in Stock! This card may look complicated with all of its color gradients, but it’s super simple. This is a swap card I received from Bonnie Alexander and she used the Crushed Curry paint chip paper from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack. I love the versatility of this paper stack and I have a feeling I’m going to be using it all year long. Combined with the Happy Birthday Thinlet and you’ve got a card that comes together super quick! And did you notice? There’s no stamping on this card! What will they think of next?
Today’s Tutorial
This card uses very simple, basic layers, that are reduced by 1/4″ with each layer.
Base: Crushed Curry, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Whisper White, 5 1/4″ x 4″
Layer 2: Color Theory Designer Series Paper , 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Gold Foil Happy Birthday
Layer 4: Crushed Curry Daisy Punch (x 2)
Base: Crushed Curry, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
