Happy 4th of July

All my bags are packed…I’m ready to go…and I’m leaving on a jet plane. Don’t know when I’ll be back again. Oh wait…yes, I do.  I’ll be home in 2 1/2 weeks.  I leave today for Rome for two days, before boarding the Jewel of the Seas in Civitavecchia, Italy for the dream of a lifetime vacation – a 7 day cruise to Greece. I get teary, just thinking about how grateful I am to you – my customers and fans – as well as my Stamping Bee team.  I couldn’t have done any of this without you and your loyal support.

 I will miss the 4th of July celbration today.  My plane out of Atlanta leaves right around 4 pm.  I hope I’m not too excited to sleep on the plane tonight.  I arrive in Rome at 7:45 am. Just in time to get my luggage, find my driver, and make it to my bed and breakfast in time to drop off my bag and grab a real Italian cappucino and pasticcerie for breakfast. 

So go out enjoy tonight’s fireworks and celebrate the birth of our great nation.  I will bid you buona notte and see you in the morning!

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Night of Navy, 5 1/4″ x 4″ 
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3: Real Red “Brights” Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 4: Night of Navy, 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Layer 5: Whisper White, 4″ x 3″ 
Layer 6: Real Red “Brights” Designer Series Paper Hot Air Balloon Punches (punch 4)
Layer 7: Real Red Well Written Dies

1. Score balloon dies in half and fold.  Glue sides together like a fan. Set aside to dry. 
2. Adhere Layers 1-4 to Base. 
3. Stamp Balloon Basket in Real Red and the outline in Night of Navy. Add to card. 
4. Adhere Balloons to card, right above basket. 
5. Glue “hooray” to card. 
6. Finish with Whisper White Thick Baker’s twine bow. ​
