To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of gift cards. See, I love a Christmas tree with lots of beautifully wrapped packages. They don’t have to hold big, expensive gifts, but the packaging – seeing the presents under the tree, the joy of watching loved ones open them – makes my heart happy at Christmas. So gift cards, have always presented a problem for me. They’re super small, thin, and quite personally, really boring to put under the tree.
This year, I decided to see what I could do about it. I got out my Envelope Punch Board and got to work. Using a 5″ x 5″ piece of cardstock, these gift card holders make quick, simple, and eye-catching projects.
I still don’t like to give gift cards, but when trying to find that gift for someone who already has anything, I won’t hesitate now, to wrap it in something fun!

This is a great idea. I usually just put mine in with a card in the envelope. This seems more exciting
These are a beautiful as any wrapped gift box! They would be pretty adorning the tree as ornaments, too.
Yes they would! Just a little gold or silver cording trim and they’d hang beautifully.
