Friday’s Tips & Tricks: Take Your Pick Tool

I couldn’t let the Falling For Leaves week pass without showing you how lovely the dies are with this bundle.  Used alone, like I did on Wednesday, or layered, these leaves show spectacular intricate detail.

And the new Take Your Pick Tool takes all the worry about getting all those little pieces out of dies.  Have you seen this yet?  It’s a multipurpose pickup and precision tool, with a tacky putty end to easily pick up sequins, paper accents, and other small objects, and another end with 2 interchangeable, double-ended tips with a paper piercer, mini spatula, and a small  and large stylus.  My Take Your Pick Tool and Stampin’ Pierce Mat are must haves on my craft table at all times.

Base: Pool Party, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Early Espresso, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Leaf Layers: Solid Early Espresso; Detailed Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Calypso Coral; Vellum Sprig Punches

1. Stamp layer 2 background with Very Vintage background stamps in Crumb Cake, stamped off first to create a lighter image.  Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso. 
2. Adhere Layers 1 & 2 to base
3. Adhere leaf layers. Finish with Linen Thread Bow and Glitter Enamel Dot.
