Yesterday, I sponged Shimmer Paint over an entire image. Today, it’s a much more delicate approach, as I mixed Petal Pink Ink with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, sponged it onto the bride stamp from the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set. It added just a hint of color, with a lot of sparkle and shine.
While I’m not completely satisfied with this card yet, I can certainly see more Shimmer Paint in my future.

Today’s Tutorial
Base: Crumb Cake,5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
Layer 1: Petal Pink, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″, opposite corners punched with Detailed Trio Punch
Layer 2: Crumb Cake, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 1: Petal Pink, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″, opposite corners punched with Detailed Trio Punch
Layer 2: Crumb Cake, 5″ x 3 3/4″
- On a Silicon Craft Sheet Mix 3-4 drops of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint with 2-3 drops of Petal Pink Ink. Use a Palette Knife to blend the color in. Using a Sponge Dauber to dab paint onto your stamp.
- Stamp image onto Layer 2, holding onto the paper for a few seconds, allowing the paper to absorb the paint. Allow to dry – it dries quickly!
- Adhere layers and add Share What you Love Artisan Pearls.
