Friday Tips & Tricks: Repurpose Stamp Sets for Different Seasons

Last week, Starbucks announced they were giving away free re-usable red cups.  Would you believe I went to 6 different stores looking for one, but they were all out!  I will say, though that they got me.  I mean, I found the most adorable holly demitasse cups that will be perfect for brewing espresso at home.  Not that I ever brew espresso without making them into lattes, but the cups were sooooooo cute!

This year, Starbucks is doing different patterns of their holiday to go cups.  So I thought, why not?  Using the Coffee Cup Framelits​ to create a coffee cup with the Santa’s Workshop Designer Series Paper had me channeling my inner barista.  

What other sets can you think of to repurpose for the holidays?

Base: Garden Green, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
​Layer 1:  Whisper White,  5 1/4″ x 4″, embossed with Gently Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Layer 2: Santa’s Workshop Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 4″, Banner Triple Punch
Layer 3: Santa’s Workshop Designer Series Paper, die cut with Coffee Cup Framelits​
Layer 4 & 5: Whisper White, die cut with Coffee Cup Framelits​​

1. Stamp sentiment in Garden Green and ‘dots’ in Poppy Parade. Adhere Layers 3-5.
2. Adhere Layer 1-2 to Base.
3. Add coffee cup with dimensionals. Finish with red rhinestone.
