Friday Sketch Challenge

This Friday’s sketch challenge was rather fun.  It takes very simple layers, and gives you a fun opportunity to showcase some of that designer series paper you have collected.  It also gave me the chance to use the Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper and 3/8 Metallic Duo Ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration catalogs. 

Cutting & Measurments. 
Base:  Whisper White 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ 
Layer 1:  Tip Top Taupe 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Layer 2:  Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper 5 1/4″ x 4″, cut again lengthwise at 1 1/2″ and flipped to show both sides. 
Layer 3:  Mint Macaron 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Layer 4: Whisper White 4″ x 3″ 

1. Adhere Layers 2 & 3.  Wrap 3/8″ Metallic ribbon around to hide the seam and tie a knot.  Add to base. 
2. Stamp floral spray in Mint Macaron.  Add sentiment in Island Indigo.  Add dotted pattern in Tip Top Taupe, stamping off on scrap paper first.  Then, add small circle in smokey slate, stamped off on scratch paper. 
3. Sponge edges of layers 3 & 4 with Tip Top Taupe.  Adhere together and add to base  with dimensionals.  Add dragonfly with dimensionals.
