I’m celebrating Free Shipping and Painted Poppies on this cold and dreary winter day. What better way to brighten anyone’s spirits than with the new Painted Poppies Suite.
I have a friend who wasn’t able to come to my November card clubs in person, so she came over and used my studio to create her cards Sunday afternoon. While she stamped her Christmas Cards, I had fun designing and using new products from the new Mini Catalog. I found all my sample packs from OnStage and decided to start there.
I have a confession to make…I don’t usually stamp at OnStage! It’s such a frenzy and there’s so many people, I’d rather visit and people watch, then bring my packets home and stamp in my studio. I’m not on such sensory overload there and make fewer mistakes!
The fun thing about the OnStage samples is that they’re so different than anything I’d create. Take today’s card, for example. It uses the tone on tone background stamping that I like so much, but Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (available now if you’re a demonstrator, or January 3 for customers) layers are quite small, allowing the card base itself to play a more important role. And while I’d usually use the Banner Triple Punch to add a tailored look to my banner, this one is just torn right across. Whoa! That’s seriously out of my comfort zone – but I love it!
The Peaceful Poppies will be just one of the suites featured at my December 28 New Year’s Stampin’ Bingo. This is always such a highlight of the holiday season. Your registration includes:
