Have you seen theFlirty Flowers Stamp Set in the annual catalog? It’s the one I used for my goodie bag class at the Stampin’ at the Beach retreat a few weeks ago. It’s a cute set, but easily over looked. I knew there was more to this set than meets the eye, so I invited Amy Bryson, a demonstrator from my Stamping Bee Team, to have fun and be creative with the set. Other than providing her with the stamp set, watercolor pencils, a blender pen, and some organza ribbon, I left it up to her to decide what to create.

I think she was a little concerned when she realized there weren’t manyFlirty Flowers samples out on Pinterest. But…she rose to the task and create a dozen floral cards, note cards, and tags that are absolutely stunning! This one was certainly a favorite of everyone at retreat! I’d say she rose to the challenge, wouldn’t you?
Today’s Tutorial
Base: Crumb Cake, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored
at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Whisper White, 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Layer 2: Crumb Cake, 5 1/4″ x 4
Layer 3: Crumb Cake, Stitched Circle Framelit
at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Whisper White, 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″

- With Versamark, stamp images and sentiment on Layers 2 & 3. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Tap off the extra. Heat emboss.
2. Using a blender pen, pick up the color from the tips of the Watercolor Pencils and fill in the flowers.
3. Adhere Layers 2 & 3 and wrap with Whisper White Organza Ribbon and tie with a knot.
