The car is packed and I’m off to the Stamping in the Mountains retreat. We’ve been talking about this for months and I know everyone is so excited. The recent hurricane had us worried. I heard from the two of the three that hit hardest by the storm and they are still coming to retreat! Through all the loss and devastation, the need to get away ans surround yourself with friends and fellowship, as well as being creative is really a basic need. I can’t tell you how thankful I am to be able to serve their needs this coming weekend.
Today, I I used the Falling for Leaves Stamp Set to count my blessings. I am so thankful that even though there is a lot of clean up to do, that my friends are all safe. We need creative downtime even more when faced with adversity to keep our minds off our troubles, and to let out some of that stress and negative energy.
