This card is built around paper and ribbon; there’s no stamping! I began with the leaf card from the Color Theory Memories and More Card Pack, trimmed it down, and used it as the center from which I built the rest of my card. It was fun adding elements from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack, the Seasonal Layers Thinlets, and the 1/4″ Copper Trim, which I ‘fluffed up’ by pulling the strands slowly apart, creating a soft wire mesh to tuck behind the layers. That actually started out as a 6″ piece of trim!
All of this is getting me really excited about this Sunday’s (9/10) Painted Harvest Card Class. I’m going to make a yummy pumpkin dessert to go along with our coffee and cards, too. Hmmm…I might have to start testing a few recipes early, just to make sure I have the right one! Why don’t you join us? Class is at 2 pm and I know you’ll have a great time! Just email me to RSVP by the 8th so I know I have enough class packets prepared. See you Sunday!
