Facebook Live and Card Club

When I created card club, I had this vision that you’d either come in person on the last Friday or Saturday of the month, OR get the club kit ‘to go’ and #craftwhenyouwant at home with a PDF tutorial and videos.  The kits are mailed out at the end of the month, and I’ve chosen the first Tuesday of the month as my Facebook live event, which serve as the videos.  Everyone who’s part of that month’s club is invited to a private Facebook Group for attendees only, and that is where we have our private Facebook Live events.

Last night, at 8 pm, I held my very first Card Club  private Facebook live event.  And this is what my desk looked like just 20 minutes before we started!  As you can see, I had a little cleaning to do! 

I’m really happy with how it went.  I demo’d all 4 Petal Palette cards that were included in club, PLUS showed how to make the little pillow gift treat holder everyone received.  I showed a few ways to use the Blends alcohol markers – they received 2 full combo packs of Daffodil Delight and Old Olive – some tips for stamping pre-cut images, and how to use the silicone craft sheet for tricky adhesives.  The Facebook Live video will remain in that private group so they can go back and watch and craft along whenever they want.

Base:  Daffodil Delight, 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″
​Layer 1:  Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2:  Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3:  Basic Lack Layering Scalloped Circle
Layer 4: Whisper White Layering Circle

1. Stamp dotted background in Daffodil Delight on Layer 2, with darker ink on the outsides, and lighter (stamped off) ink in the center.   Adhere to layer 1 and wrap with Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon.  Tie a knot and add to base. 
2. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Layer 4.  Add to Layer 3 and add to base with dimensionals.  
3. Add one medium rhinestone to circle.
