Everyone Needs Thank You Cards

 My grandmother, who’s birthday was today, was a stickler for us sending thank you cards for all gifts received for holidays and special occasions.  I remember feeling so guilty when, months after my wedding, she mentioned, “Aunt Mary told me she never received a thank you card from you.”  To this day, every time I use my favorite paring knife, I think of Aunt Mary, my grandmother, and that thank you card!

It’s been a very busy month and I found myself needing a new stack of thank you cards.  I wanted something cheerful and summery and the new Delightful Daisy Daisy Designer Series Paper (available June 1) is just the perfect thing.  I really like this bigger patterns for creating quick, simple cards.  it really doesn’t get much easier than this!  The hardest part is going to be sitting down and addressing all of them!

I send thank you cards each month to everyone who attends a class or makes a purchase from me.  So, you should be watching your mailbox for your own very special thank you!

Tutorial

Base:  Daffodil Delight or Calypso Coral, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″,
​scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1:  Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper , 5 1/4″ x 4
Layer 2:  Whisper White,  1″ x 4″

• Stamp sentiment in Tranquil Tide onto Whisper White and punch with the Triple Banner Punch.
• Adhere layer 1 to card base with Fast Fuse. 
• Adhere sentiment to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
