Dapper is back in style

When did words like ‘dapper’ go out of style?  I’m glad to see it used in the Truly Tailored stamp set.   And while I didn’t use the Tailored Tag Punch from the bundle, I did make a tag!  How fun to have a gift tag that matches the card.  Pretty spiffy!

I love a bundle with punches!  They’re so quick and easy to use.  No getting out your Big Shot; no time spent searching for framelits.  Just stamp, punch, and you’re good to go.  Bundles with punches often have a lower price point, too, them great for those of us watching our crafting budget.

Base:  Crumb Cake, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1:  Night of Navy, 1 7/8″ x 5″, punched with Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Round bottom corners with Envelope Punch Board. 
Layer 2:  True Gentleman Designer Series Paer, 1 3/4″ x 5″punched with Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Round bottom corners with Envelope Punch Board. 
Layer 3:  Tranquil Tide, Scalloped Layering Circle
Layer 4: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, Stitched Circle Framelit

1. Stamp sentiment in Versamark onto Layer 4.  Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and Heat Emboss on lowest setting.  Adhere to Layer 3. 
2. Stamp triangle background in Crumb Cake onto the upper right and lower left corners of the base.  Be sure to reink your stamp for every triangle.  
3. Add a small strip of Night of Navy Seam Binding Ribbon to tie Layers 1 & 2 together (Don’t use adhesive; you want them to be able to move).  Add to base by only using Snail on the back of the Layer 1. 
4. Add circles with dimensionals, making sure they are only on Layer 3.
