It was hard to get out of bed this morning. My family has been here from California for two weeks and I’ve spent every night over at my parents house, visiting and playing.  It’s been great having them here and we try to cram in as much time together as possible before they go home again.  California is just too far away! It’s sad that they have to leave today, since it’s my parents 52 wedding anniversary. 

Family…it’s what holds us together. No matter where we are, when we’re together, it feels like ‘home’.   And August’s Paper Pumpkin had just the right sentiments to express how thankful and grateful I am to my family and friends.  In good times and bad, I know that they are there for me, just as I am for them.

Card Bases: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4 (in Crumb Cake and Merry Merlot)
Layer 1: 5 1/4″ x 4, embossed with Layered Leaves and Scripty Embossing Folders (in Crumb Cake and Merry Merlot)

Tiny Gift Box Measurements
Crumb Cake or Merry Merlot Cardstock cut to 4″ x 3 1/2″
Score on 4″ side: 5/8:, 1 3/4″ , 2 3/8″, 3-1/2″
Score at 3 1/2″ side: 5/8″, 2 7/8″
