Just one of the Julia’s beautiful display boards.
So, last night, I grabbed my bag of adhesives and paper snips and set off for Julia’s studio. After a yummy dinner – because, what’s crafting without food! – we went upstairs to her studio and got to work.
We started with a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock, and using some Stamping Sponges, started layering and blending four different colors of Stampin’ Up! ink: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, and Night of Navy. It was amazing to see the transformation of how those colors blended together. We began rubbing the sponge in a circular patter, starting ongrid paper first, then moving onto the Shimmery White Card Shimmery White Card Stock to avoid streaking. Julia was a bit more successful on the “avoid streaking” part than I was. I guess that means I need more practice!
Now…who would like to win this card? Leave a note for me below, or on Facebook, and I’ll announce a random winner next Friday!
