What did you do this weekend? I spent my weekend, not doing chores or yardwork, but crafting with my friends, who also happen to be Stampin’ Up! demonstators at the NC Stampers with Heart quarterly retreat. My friend, Selene Kempton, drove down from Boston and this time, she brought her family along.
Friday night, started with a shoe box swap. We all created a special card and prepped prepared packets so everyone could make their own. We all had fun and went home with 9 special cards to add to our samples.
Then, on Saturday, it was a whirlwind of a day. Since we’re all demonstrators, there were a few tips and ideas for building our stamping business. But the real fun was getting to make 16 cards!!! We made 8 cards in the morning, and then 8 in the afternoon. It was the best day – laughing and crafting with my friends.
Housework can wait. I was busy Making Memories to last a lifetime. If this sounds like fun to you, join my Stamping Bee Team, and you can join us at our next quarterly meeting in September. Ask me how to be part of this amazing group of crafters.
