I went to visit my sister in San Diego last March, and flew threw Kansas City. With a 3-hour layover, of course I had to find some lunch and sample some of KC’s famous bbq at the Pork and Pickle. I had to try the BBQ Mac N Cheese because, well…bbq AND mac n cheese is like heaven on a plate. If you’re going to take almost 20 hours to get to your sister’s house, the least you could do is have some comfort food!
And while the food and local beer was good, what I loved most was the decor. Check this out! Very urban industrial! And I fell in love with the Tin Tile ceiling! I remember sitting at my little table for one, taking pictures of the ceiling.
Imaging my excitement, then, to learn that the Country Lane Suite featured a Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder! I love how it gives a vintage-y, farmhouse, industrial chic look to any background. I know I’ll be using this with a wide variety of stamp sets, too.

Today’s card was designed by Heather Tyman. Heather is one of my Stamping Bees and is a regular guest designer and display stamper at my big events. I asked her to design 15-20 projects featuring the Country Lane Suite for my Stamping in the Mountains Retreat next week.
Base: Pool Party, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing folder, which had been sponged with Early Espresso ink.
Layer 2: Country Lane Designer Series Paper, 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 3 ” x 4″
Layer 2: Country Lane Designer Series Paper, 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″

- Stamp image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color with Blends.
- Adhere Layers 1-2. Wrap with 3 1/16″ Braided Linen Trim and tie a bow.
- Add to base with dimensionals.
