Christmas in July: Under the Mistletoe

When I was a young girl, my mother had the prettiest glass ornaments.  At least, they were beautiful to my sister and I. They weren’t antiques or heirlooms; for all I know, they may have come from Woolsworths, but to us, they were precious.  These traditional-shaped ornaments found in the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper remind me of those pretty ornaments of my childhood, and I couldn’t wait to use it!  And you know what?  It’s part of July’s Buy 3/Get 1 Free Sale.  I’ve got big plans for this paper stack in August, so you can bet I’m going to stock up.

Base:  Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Pa[er, 5″ x 3 3/4″, cut in half
Layer 3: Real Red Layering Scalloped Square
Layer 4: Basic Black Layering Scalloped Square
​Layer 5: Whisper White, Stitched Shaped Squared

1. Stamp sentiment and snowflakes in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Layer 5.  
2. Adhere Layers 3-5. 
3. Adhere Layers 1-2.  Wrap with Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon, covering the seam.  Tie in a knot and add to Base. 
4. Add squares to Base with dimensionals.  
5. Finish with a Gold Metallic Pearl.
