Christmas Around the World – and a Be Merry Kit Winner

Christmas is fast approaching; you can feel it in the air!  This weekend, it was full on holiday festivities, with a day of holiday baking with the children next door.   I’ve never seen so many sprinkles on cookies before!  But oh, such a great time!  

Friday night, in front of the Hallmark Channel, I made 10 swaps for Sunday’s Stamping Bee Christmas party.  I couldn’t decide which Christmas Around the World paper to use – cookies, nutcrackers, or global Christmas objects.  So, I used all three!  The team swap was so much fun; I can’t wait to show you all the swaps I received from my team mates.  Each and every one of them were made with the Christmas spirit and truly work works to be proud of.

This is a great sketch to use when you have scraps of designer series paper, or a large image that you want to break up into something more usable. 

Base:  Real Red, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
​Layer 1:  Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2:  Real Red, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 4:  Strips of Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper, 1″ x 3 1/2″
Layer 5:  Basic Black Scalloped Layering Circle
Layer 6: Real Red Stitched Shapes Circle (2nd largest)

1. Stamp Sentiment in Versa Mark onto Layer 6.  Sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder and heat with Heat Tool.  Adhere to Layer 5 with Fast Fuse. 
2. Adhere the rest of the layers with Fast Fuse.  Add Oval with Dimensonals. 
3. Finalize with 6 Black Rhinestones.
