Mooooove over Monday, it’s #CASEingTuesday! I love Tuesdays because all the design work is done for me. I just have to CASE (copy and share everything) the design right out of the catalog! I mean, why not? We oooh and ahhhh over the designs in there. Why not use the designs that are already done to expand our repertoire, and in my case, skills. Take today’s card, for example…I was up at 6:30 am designing this (so maybe I procrastinate just a little!), and I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get the diagonal cut on the 4″ square. Did I mention I was crafting PRE coffee??? That’s so dangerous. Anyway…a couple sips of coffee and a single cut on my trimmer later and voila! Fun diagonal.
Have I mentioned that I’m Over the Moon for this stamp set? (Ok, maybe too much coffee this morning???) It’s been sitting on my shelf for months, and I finally pulled it down this weekend. I LOVE IT! Totally adorable. After making my first card with it Saturday morning, I decided I’d use it for my August Sweet & Simple Class! And pairing it up with the dots from the Love What You Do stamp set makes it even cuter.

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/4″ x 4 :
Layer 2: Whisper White, 4″ x 4″, cut on the diagonal
Layer 4: Basic Black Layering Circle
Layer 5: Whisper White Stitched Shapes Circle
Scraps of Basic Black and Whisper White for Classic Label Punch
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/4″ x 4 :
Layer 2: Whisper White, 4″ x 4″, cut on the diagonal
Layer 4: Basic Black Layering Circle
Layer 5: Whisper White Stitched Shapes Circle
Scraps of Basic Black and Whisper White for Classic Label Punch
- Stamp dots in Tuxedo Black onto Layer 2. Adhere to Layer 1 and ad here to Base.
- Stamp Cow and heart in Tuxedo Black onto Layer 5. Color with Blends. Adhere to Layer 4. Add dimensionals behind and add Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon behind. Add to base.
- Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White scrap and punch out with Classic Label Punch. Use punch on a scrap of basic black and cut in half. Adhere behind the white label. Add to base with mini dimensionals.
- Add all layers to Base.
