The weather outside is going to be frightful. We’re expecting big storms today. Not snow (unfortunately) but thunderstorms. I woke up and check the news and saw photos of the path of destruction these storms have caused already. I tell you, I’m staying inside today and playing on this CASEing Tuesday with the Snowman Season stamp set!
I love snowmen! I credit Frosty the Snowman for giving me the idea that Christmas snow is magic snow. But it truly is. Even living up north, knowing we were in for months of cold and snowy weather, waking up to snow on Christmas morning is magical! Shoveling Christmas snow, however, is more of a nightmare. But there’s nothing worse than having Santa bring a new sled only to wake up to rain.
This happy little snowman is my favorite out of the whole Snowman Season stamp set. For today’s CASEing Tuesday Snowman Season card, I wanted to use a tone-on-tone technique which allowed me to use embellishments from three different places for pops of color.
- The snowman has coal buttons from the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit.
- The snowflake has a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.
- And the sentiment has one of those red cardinals from the Winter Wonders Paper Pumpkin Kit (October 2019)
