Why does it feel that 3-day weekends go by even faster than a regular weekend? This Labor Day was full of friends, family, and some glorious times relaxing and playing at the pool. Oh, and it was HOT! When I was a kid growing up in Spokane, September meant a return to cooler temps, especially at night. But here in North Carolina, I think September can be one of the hottest months of the year! It certainly doesn’t help when I’m ready for apples, squash, cinnamon, and my cozy leggings.
Today’s #CASEingTuesday card uses a stamp set that I’ve had on my shelves for a while, but have never used. It’s the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set, and it worked out perfectly for today’s sketch challenge. The sketch itself was watercolored, and I did a little faux watercoloring with my Wink of Stella. Stamp your image onto Shimmery White or Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, then simply brush the tip of your Wink of Stella brush across your Watercolor Pencil, and brush it on your image. It creates beautiful, shimmery water coloring in absolutely no time at all.
